The EESC is pleased to announce that it has launched a call for expression of interest for civil society representatives from EU candidate countries to join the work of the EESC and become “enlargement candidate members”. Candidates can apply to this one-year pilot project by sending their applications and proposing their representatives through the dedicated survey, at the latest by 25 January 2024.
The selection process will take into account expertise and representativeness of civil society organisations and their track-record in participating in national or international networks.
The selection will also take into account gender balance and participation of youth organisations. Preference will be given to candidates who speak at least one of the official languages of the EU.
